Summer & Chris's Romantic Robertson Homestead Wedding | Rock Hill Wedding Photographer

"Dearest Gentle Reader…”

Ok, I have to admit it was hard to resist. Because this romantic Robertston Homestead wedding gave me all the Bridgerton feels!

The Historic Robertson Homestead is a 200+ year old restored home complete with a bridal suite, groom's quarters, creekside ceremony space, and the "Tipsy Goat Barn," an air-conditioned barn set up for receptions and other events. Located just outside of Rock Hill, SC, it’s a gorgeous venue with so many options for weddings and photos--a photographer's dream!

Summer and Chris met while she was working for Chris’s dad’s business. Their story is one of sweetness, family, and true love. And that was reflected throughout their entire wedding day in July of 2025! From Chris helping his future son Braxton get ready to Summer’s sister-in-law helping do her hair, from the sweetest first look between Braxton and Summer to Chris’s dad escorting Summer down the aisle, the entire day celebrated family-ness.

One of the highlights of the day was a surprise horse-drawn carriage ride arranged by Chris’s mom. The couple and their son took a little ride around the grounds of the Robertson Homestead. And the coachman’s name was—get this—Bridger Medlin. It was truly a Bridgerton moment!

The reception was held in the homestead’s “Tipsy Goat Barn,” which is even air-conditioned so that everyone could celebrate comfortably in the summer heat! After a delicious dinner, the wedding party and guests brought the energy and turned the reception into an unforgettable celebration.
